    Hey Newgrounders,

For those that may be unaware I announced the winner of Battle of the Bands 2024 yesterday within the discussion thread for said contest. Just to recap the winner is Screed - Queering Cat Rescue by UwUwizard

Again here is the breakdown of all the scores. It was a close battle between the top 3 with roughly a 1 point difference between them.

    Hey Newgrounders,

Just a quick update for those that may be unaware but NG Battle of the Bands 2024 is currently running from November 3rd to December 3rd. You will find both the discussion thread and the submissions thread in the Audio forum.

This year is different as solo acts are allowed to enter. You can find all the details and rules for this contest within the discussion thread. Just like last year the prize is $100 for first place, if there are more donations however this would allow for more prize tiers. Best of luck to everyone participating this year!

    Hi Newgrounders,

I am pleased to announce that my music has been distributed to major streaming platforms such as Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and all the other platforms that CD Baby distributes to (I went with CD Baby as my distributer.)

So far I have 3 albums distributed which are: Bards & Battles, Monuments in Time, and A Stream of Sound. Along with the single Belarusian Goth Girl from my side project/singer-songwriter project Siphon the Cipher

In other news NG Battle of the Bands will be returning again this year, that's right that music contest I hosted last year will be returning again this year starting on November 3rd. But this year solo artists/one man bands can now enter. An official BBS Thread for that will be created closer to the date so stay tuned for that.

    Peace,

    -Nathan

    Hey Everyone,

The NG Pub Song Collab that I hosted has been published now. It originated on the NGAP Collab Center discord server in the Mature Collabs channel. If you are interested in being part of any future audio collabs then consider joining the NGAP Collab Center discord, you can find a link in the author comments of the NG Pub Song Collab.

Thanks to Ratedkid and FatherBeef for being part of this collab. I made the banner artwork for it myself which I shall showcase below.

    Hey Newgrounders,

I released a new album on my Bandcamp titled Bards & Battles.

It is set in the fictional medieval fantasy world of Bardanheim, Bards & Battles is a fantasy themed album inspired by concept albums from popular power metal bands. It features a collection of both instrumental compositions and songs with an acoustic folk rock flavour to them. Bards & Battles is unlike any previously released album by Flamadour, as it’s the first to utilise vocals and with songs set in the same world as each other while still retaining the same Spanish guitar flair of the previous albums.

This album utilises storytelling as a focal point through the use of lyrics and accompanying instrumentation. Step foot into the wonderous world of Bardanheim! And be mesmerized by tales of Bards and Battles!...

You will find 9 tracks on this album. The first track off the album is Great Dragon's Bane which was the song I made for this year's NGUAC knock out round. I updated the song on Newgrounds to match the new final version of the song from the album. I did the same with the instrumental version which is also included on the album. As well as every other track of mine that appears on any of my albums on Bandcamp as I remastered all my previous albums since I recently purchased Bx_Masterdesk PRO by Brainworx as it was on sale for only $29.99 (which is great value at that price and a must have plugin.)

In other news I'm currently hosting a Pub Song Collab on the NGAP Collab Center discord server, it's currently still in the Mature collab start-up channel as there weren't enough people interested in it. But it will go ahead whether it gets a lot of participants or not. The due date for that Collab is October 6th (the last day of Oktoberfest this year.) So if you are interested in making a pub themed song for the collab then consider joining the discord server otherwise I can PM you the PDF document with all the rules and details for the collab.

    Peace,

    -Nathan

    Hey Newgrounders,

I've reached 100 Fans on Newgrounds, I'd like to thank everyone who followed me and made this possible.

    iu_1253055_11346783.png

In other news, I have updated my Album A Stream of Sound on Bandcamp. I added the two compositions that I made for AIM this year. Which were Roaming The Golden Plains and The Air of Spring. But that is not all, I also created a new improvised folk track called The Great Pine Forest. The guitar part of the track was recorded in one solid take and was improvised in an Alternate tuning showcasing my ability to improvise a tune on the fly. The overall runtime of the album is just under 20 minutes now.

While still on the topic of Bandcamp, Back in June I released a singer-songwriter song from my new singer-songwriter project titled Vex Cipher. The debut single is titled Belarusian Goth Girl, this song was almost 2 years in the making as I first began writing the lyrics back in 2022 (or early 2023).

I re-recorded the guitars for the third and final time. And it took me a while to record the vocals after changing the lyrics to better suit to flow of the song. As well as practising my vocals to a point where it sounded decent enough with multiple takes being recorded in the process. (Singing is hard man!)

I may or may not upload the song to Newgrounds (depends if people like it enough I guess.) I also have the instrumental version on Bandcamp as part of the single.

In regards to my albums on Bandcamp. I created some physical CDs of my albums for myself to listen to and display in shadow boxes. I used some photoshop templates that I sourced online that have the correct 5mm bleed on the edges. I printed out the CD liners on photopaper since it's cheaper and easier to cut than cardstock. I cut out the liners by hand with a steel ruler and a pocket knife (since I didn't have a box cutter lying around at the time.) Overall the CDs came out good with the artwork (that I made myself) looking quite vibrant and clear in appearance. I'll drop an image to the first shadow containing my albums below. (I made up two shadow boxes in total thus far.)

Lastly to finish off this blog post, I shall drop a link to the song that I made for the NGUAC Knockout round. (I was delighted when I found out that I made it into the knock out round.)

I'll also be uploading the instrumental version to Newgrounds soon, so stay tuned for that.

    Till next time

    Hi Newgrounders,

I have released my second comedy album The New Goblin King which is available on Bandcamp. It contains a mix of new voice comedies such as Seductive Stories with Sebastian 4 & 5, The Forbidden Hot Sauce, The Corporate Media in a Nutshell, and Masochist Motel. Along with some older voice comedies that weren't included on my first comedy album A Priest Among Pervs

I also released a Mini EP titled A Stream of Sound which is also on Bandcamp.

In other news I've finally made a YouTube Channel which you can find Here. I've only got 1 video up right now which is a Music Video that I filmed and edited myself for my track Scorpion Dance. And let me tell you it was bothersome editing it all together and trying to sync up the official audio with the videos, along with trying to properly colour correct the individual clips.

    Hello All,

I've uploaded my last 3 voice comedies for the year, I shall link them below.

The first is titled Mad Mackenzie's Mad Hat Emporium it's the only E rated voice comedy that I've made thus far. And it's the 14th track from my debut comedy album A Priest Among Pervs

The second one is A Weeaboo's Monologue which is also from my comedy album.

And the third one which I just uploaded is A Weeaboo's Monologue 2 Conventions (also on the comedy album) it's the sequel to the first monologue. There are a total of 4 monologues, the last two can heard on Bandcamp if you click the link above.

Happy New Year to you all,
