Hey Newgrounders,

I've reached 100 Fans on Newgrounds, I'd like to thank everyone who followed me and made this possible.

In other news, I have updated my Album A Stream of Sound on Bandcamp. I added the two compositions that I made for AIM this year. Which were Roaming The Golden Plains and The Air of Spring. But that is not all, I also created a new improvised folk track called The Great Pine Forest. The guitar part of the track was recorded in one solid take and was improvised in an Alternate tuning showcasing my ability to improvise a tune on the fly. The overall runtime of the album is just under 20 minutes now.

While still on the topic of Bandcamp, Back in June I released a singer-songwriter song from my new singer-songwriter project titled Vex Cipher. The debut single is titled Belarusian Goth Girl, this song was almost 2 years in the making as I first began writing the lyrics back in 2022 (or early 2023).

I re-recorded the guitars for the third and final time. And it took me a while to record the vocals after changing the lyrics to better suit to flow of the song. As well as practising my vocals to a point where it sounded decent enough with multiple takes being recorded in the process. (Singing is hard man!)

I may or may not upload the song to Newgrounds (depends if people like it enough I guess.) I also have the instrumental version on Bandcamp as part of the single.

In regards to my albums on Bandcamp. I created some physical CDs of my albums for myself to listen to and display in shadow boxes. I used some photoshop templates that I sourced online that have the correct 5mm bleed on the edges. I printed out the CD liners on photopaper since it's cheaper and easier to cut than cardstock. I cut out the liners by hand with a steel ruler and a pocket knife (since I didn't have a box cutter lying around at the time.) Overall the CDs came out good with the artwork (that I made myself) looking quite vibrant and clear in appearance. I'll drop an image to the first shadow containing my albums below. (I made up two shadow boxes in total thus far.)

Lastly to finish off this blog post, I shall drop a link to the song that I made for the NGUAC Knockout round. (I was delighted when I found out that I made it into the knock out round.)

I'll also be uploading the instrumental version to Newgrounds soon, so stay tuned for that.

Till next time

-Nathan
